Meet Rep. Paul Hollis of Mandeville

At 41, Paul Hollis brings a lot to the table for serving the people of Louisiana in the U.S. Senate. He’s a successful businessperson. His business, Paul’s an expert in rare coins and precious metals.
After starting at the bottom and working his way up at Louisiana’s largest coin firm in New Orleans, Paul Hollis opened his own business at 29 years of age. Interestingly, Paul got into the business of coins as a young boy when his grandmother gave him a rare coin. Paul Hollis knows the private sector of our nation’s economy like no other Senate candidate!
Not only has Paul been successful in the tangible assets business, but he’s an acknowledged expert on the evolution of America’s currency and monetary system. His book, “American Numismatist”, has won praise and was named the “U.S. Coin Book of the Year” by one Literary Guild. Paul is also a national Board Member of the Industry Council for Tangible Assets.
Paul Hollis is lifetime Louisiana! Born and raised in Metairie in Jefferson Parish, Paul has family in Monroe and Alexandria where he often spent vacations and summers visiting and meeting relatives. He is the third son of the late Ken Hollis, and Judy Hollis. His dad, Ken, was a State Senator for a number of years, representing Jefferson Parish in the Louisiana Senate. He is a 1990 graduate of Grace King School in Metairie where he served as student body president his senior year. He then graduated from LSU.
Two years ago, Paul Hollis was elected to represent the good people of District 104 in St. Tammany Parish as their State Representative. Paul hit the ground running in the Louisiana Legislature. While Paul’s district is in Southeast Louisiana, he received the “Business Champion Award” from the Southwest Louisiana Chamber of Commerce. He’s also been recognized as an “Outstanding Family Advocate” by the Louisiana Family Forum. Paul stands for his conservative principles and people notice. Paul Hollis is independent and will quickly stand up for Louisiana, not for the Washington insiders and powerbrokers.
Paul and his wife, Ashley, have been married for 12 years. They have been blessed with two children, a daughter, Bree, and a son, Zachary. They live near Mandeville, in St. Tammany Parish. Paul is an active member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Mandeville.
