Students at Istrouma Leadership Academy

Some of Istrouma’s incoming 9th and 10th graders are being invited to participate in the school’s Student Leadership Academy.

This is a chance for students and teachers to meet one another for the first time and get to know each other better.  The students participate in exercises to help them identify what is important in their lives and prioritize them. Team-building exercises give students and adults the chance to work together, cooperate and achieve a goal.

Principal Reginald Douglas spoke to the students and challenged them to take advantage of the opportunity they have at Istrouma.
