Response to Broome Letter. The St. George Transition District met on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Members of the district board responded to Mayor-President Sharon Broome’s letter of Aug. 13.
Transition District chairman Andrew Murrell said just because someone sues to stop the incorporation and then loses their suit does not give them the right to determine the date of incorporation.
Murrell said the date of incorporation has always been October 12, 2019, not July 1, 2024, as proposed by Mayor Broome.
