Supreme Court Lets Rouzan Decision Stand

The Louisiana Supreme Court let stand the 1st Circuit Court of Appeal decision that the Rouzan development was formed illegally and has been violating the servitude of homeowners Danny Hoover and Dr. Bob Welch.

Hoover and Welch sued developer Tommy Spinosa and the Metro Council for allowing Spinosa to operate his development in violation of the parish ordinance on Traditional Neighborhood Development.  The Hoover and Welch families have argued that Spinoza has violated their servitude of access to Glasgow Avenue.  Now the Supreme Court has agreed.

On Monday, attorney Alex St. Amant filed an amended petition seeking an undetermined amount of money from Spinoza.
