Edwards, Vitter Want Special Session

During the Baton Rouge Press Club debate Monday, both Republican David Vitter and Democrat John Bel Edwards said they would call a special session of the legislature soon after being sworn in.  Both said they would focus on undedicating some spending and repealing some tax giveaways.  Vitter said he would focus on tax credits that are not performing.  Edwards said he would allocate savings to higher education and health care.
