St. George Editor Woody Jenkins to Speak at Rotary

St. George Leader editor Woody Jenkins will speak at the St. George Rotary Club meeting at 12 noon Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Portobello’s, 15440 George Oneal Road. Jenkins will discuss the work of the new City of St. George, including the Dec. 7 election to transfer the sales tax from the parish to the city and the importance to St. George of who wins the Mayor-President’s race.  He will also discuss the March 29 election and the vote for city officials and a City Charter.
