Gov. Jindal Proclaims Day of Prayer in Louisiana

BATON ROUGE — Public officials led by Gov. Bobby Jindal, lobbyists, the media, pastors, and the public made their way to the Senate Chamber at the State Capitol May 2 for the annual National Day of Prayer ceremonies.
The governor started by proclaiming it Louisiana’s Day of Prayer.  Seven individuals prayed for various institutions and groups in the state, such as elected officials, the family, the church, and the media.  Also on hand was Rev. Rodney Wood, a pastor with a special ministry to state legislators.
