Veterans Treated to Showing of Lone Survivor

BIC Alliance and its marketing partners sponsored a private showing of the new movie “Lone Survivor” and invited Baton Rouge area veterans to pack the Grand Cinema theater Jan. 17.  BIC chairman Earl Heard said it was a way to say thank you to veterans, who are often forgotten.

The movie, which tells the true story of a Navy Seal mission to assassinate a terrorist leader in Afghanistan, left the veterans on the edge of their seats for much of the movie.  Many shed a tear to see the suffering that the men of the Seal team endured.

Among the more than 150 people attending the private screening were Veterans Helping Veterans from Central and active duty Marines, who had a special invitation.  Lone Survivor is still playing at all theaters in Baton Rouge.
